Terms of Service

Effective [Effective date]. These terms are an agreement between you and GoFirehorseGO LLC (“VidioLibrary,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using VidioLibrary, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Who can use VidioLibrary

You must be 18 or older and live in the United States during the pilot. Some features are a beta or invite-only test and may change, break or be removed.

2. No guarantee of results

VidioLibrary is a learning tool. We do not guarantee that you will learn a language, reach any level, pass any test, or become fluent or bilingual. Results depend on many things, including how much you practice. Level names (for example “conversational” or “bilingual”) are general guides, not certifications.

Words, translations, pronunciations, object names and meanings are produced partly by automated systems and can be wrong. Body-language, expression and voice-tone cues are possible interpretations only, never facts about what a person thinks, feels or is like. Don't rely on VidioLibrary for medical, legal, safety, travel-document or other important decisions.

3. Plans and payment

Prices, limits and included features are shown at checkout and may change. We'll give at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to your renewal.

Automatic renewal. Monthly and annual memberships renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. Free trials convert to a paid membership unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time in Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.

Refunds. Except as described in section 4 or required by law, payments are non-refundable and we don't give refunds or credits for partly used periods. Purchases made through Apple or Google are governed by their refund policies.

4. Changes to the service and ending memberships early

We may add, change or remove features, languages, word lists or limits at any time.

We may end the service, or any paid plan, at any time, including before the end of a membership you have paid for. If we do, we'll give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app when we reasonably can. If we end a paid plan before your prepaid term is over, we'll refund the unused part of your payment, pro rata by full months remaining. For Lifetime purchases, if the service ends within 24 months of your purchase, we'll refund a pro-rata share of the price over those 24 months; after 24 months, no refund is due.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, without a refund, where the law allows.

5. Camera, microphone and people around you

Camera and microphone features run only when you turn them on. We don't keep raw camera images or recordings by default. When you tap Capture, one still photo is sent to our AI provider to name what's in it and is not stored by us. Our Privacy Notice explains what we collect and why.

You're responsible for using the camera and microphone lawfully and respectfully. Don't point them at people who haven't agreed to it where consent is required, and never use VidioLibrary to identify, track, harass or make decisions about anyone.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service. For example, don't break the law, try to get around limits or payments, copy or resell our content, reverse-engineer the service, or overload it.

7. Our content and yours

VidioLibrary, its software, word lists, designs and brand belong to us or our licensors. Some word lists come from open sources under their own licenses, credited in the app. You keep ownership of anything you create; you give us permission to use it only to run and improve the service as described in our Privacy Notice.

8. Disclaimers and limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, VidioLibrary is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

9. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [Counsel to add the dispute process, for example informal resolution first, then courts or arbitration, and any class-action terms.]

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use VidioLibrary after that means you accept the updated terms.
